Female High Rollers & Big Wagers make their mark.
The information comes from an eight month period of gambling patterns from user data from an Online Austrian bookmaker site.
The study indicated that within the test group females betting strategies were more intense and frequent then their male counterparts, risking an average of $20Us per bet.
Another interesting find was that within that 8 month period, they found that people who made larger bets were 50% of the time less likely to loss than user who made smaller bets.
“Individuals who made larger wagers lost proportionately less than individuals who made smaller wagers,” the researchers said. “These players place extreme amounts of money at risk but extreme losses did not moderate their play.”
