Generally when I’m going to gamble on roulette, I plan which roulette gambling system, I’d like to use for the day and focus on the necessary roulette betting systems to get me to my goal. I like to see roulette almost like a business. I’m investing this amount money and hoping come out on top at the end of it. Like any business there’s an element of risk but that is offset by researching business principals (or in our case roulette betting systems) and apply low risk high yield strategies to the business.
On Thursday night I decided to go out with friends to the local Casino complex to hit the nightclub and had no intention to gamble on the night. The nightclub was the usual sausage fest and decided to take a look at the action on the roulette tables.
Already.. I’m breaking my “Play Smarter Roulette” rules as I generally don’t gamble when I’m out with friends as there’s too many distractions and I hadn’t prepared a myself to use a roulette system for that night.
I settled down at the $2.50 minimum table as my bank roll for the night was quite low ($150). I decided to stick to betting on columns and or dozens. Which didn’t require too much thought process and allowed me enjoy some of the distractions that walk passed the roulette table (See… I continue to break my rules).
Once my bankroll started to gain traction I reached $300 within 20 spins. I generally stick to one system for the night, but that night I really was all over the place and decided to changed my roulette betting strategy. I started to bet on numbers based on a section of the roulette wheel. Mostly focusing on 0 with 4 units straight up and 1 unit on splits 0-1, 0-2, 0-3. Within 5 spins I had hit the 0. I was that surprised I asked the croupier if I could record the payout on my video phone, he was reluctant but say ok.
You can video the video here.
the payout was.
0 - 5 units ($2.50 x 5 = $12.5) x 35 = $437.50
0-1 - 1 unit ($2.50 x 1 = $2.50) x 17 = $42.50
0-1 - 1 unit ($2.50 x 1 = $2.50) x 17 = $42.50
0-1 - 1 unit ($2.50 x 1 = $2.50) x 17 = $42.50
total = $565
The next spin i hit 33 with the following payout.
33 - 3 units ($2.50 x 3 = $7.5) x 35 = $262.50
33-36 - 1 unit ($2.50 x 1 = $2.50) x 17 = $42.50
33-32- 1 unit ($2.50 x 1 = $2.50) x 17 = $42.50
33-30- 1 unit ($2.50 x 1 = $2.50) x 17 = $42.50
total = $390
While i was fortunate enough to have won that night, It could have easily have gone wrong and with the betting strategy i was using, i would have blown my bankroll within 5 spins.
The idea of using a roulette betting system is to minimize your losses and allow you to stretch your bank roll further when you hit a string of bad numbers.
